How to thrive in the midst of nonstop stress

Caregiving is a growing issue and not just for the elderly. Today’s boomers are caught in the family sandwich with parents suddenly needing care on one side and the demands of their own family and life. Others find themselves thrust into caregiving with life partners struck down by illness or children caught in the grips of a disease. Let’s face it. Few embrace the role. For most, the role is taken on reluctantly. I am one of those reluctant caregivers and this is my blog, my placeholder for thoughts, feelings and, hopefully, understandings. Don’t be content to simply survive, look for ways to thrive.
